    you could pressure test the pump and make sure the PSI is in spec

    my trans did something similar when i had a bearing come apart. the clutch material plugged the solenoids, which made them code and the metal grinding in the case made my temps skyrocket and impossible to cool. id cut open the pan filter.

    I wouldnt own a gas engine ever again even if i knew i wasnt ever going to tow a trailer again. I dont get out of my LML for really any vehicle.

    Fuel creates heat. Which gives higher egts... Higher egts, more fuel being used..
