    Bathroom door question.

    Just bought a.house a couple weeks ago Working on remodeling it now. Sometime back somebody put a toilet and sink in a 41x41 closet and that is the downstairs bathroom. The upstairs one is very large and nice. But this downstairs one you can't hardly use. The toilet is 2" from the wall. 2" from...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    checked returns. Only got 10-12ml of fuel returning out of system minus pump. GM book says replace pump?

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    If the valve itself is leaking, it should be easily determined in the return test right? Seems as if it would be just from reading through the book on it. Because there would be a high return rate of fuel through the valve. Although i wonder if you would notice it because they want you to do the...

    LB7: Diagnosing bad FPR?

    About an hour for the regulator (Book time 4.1hrs). Just need to remove the intake horn a/c compressor and upper coolant pipe. Then unplug it and remove all three screws using a T25 torx. I found my 1/4" drive snap-on t25 standard length bit wouldn't fit straight because the bit holder would...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    Are you making all Braided AN hoses for it as well? Went through all of that on our pulling tractor, takes awhile but looks nice, holds up well, and is very serviceable down the road.

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    This truck is perfect. Its smooth and dead nuts all the way to 18,000 then nothing. I dont think it is an engine limp. Correct me if I am wrong, but without looking doesn't engine limp limit you to 2,000RPM usually. This truck runs fine the full RPM range as long as it never commands over...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    never even thought of that. Makes sense that it could be an issue. If I command full psi at idle it will go to 18,000 and stay there, it will not drop. I need to retest at 2000rpm to get accurate numbers for there as I do not remember them and did not log it by accident. Is there really...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    that was my plan was to check the return rates. I know new injectors can be bad or go bad quickly. Had it happen before but not with Bosch ones, but still have heard of that as well. ECm hasnt been flashed to his knowledge although I was going to see what I could find with it. Ive got another...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    talked to merchant they said pump or injectors. Injectors were done within the past year by GM. So then they said pump. Id hate to throw a pump on it because then i cant return it. Just like the FPR I put on it, if it is the pump theres a wasted FPR that I wont be able to recoop all of the...

    LB7: Rail Pressure Issues

    Regulator fixed the surge which was obvious. However did not fix the pressure issue while driving. When it drops fro 18,000 to 2,000psi. It does it soo smooth and with no real hesitation, or sputtering, or noises. Just gracefully but quickly drops. Doesnt shudder or anything and no error codes...

    LMM: Chassis Cab DPF Delete.

    Ordered diamond eye frontpipe for 01-07 trucks, MBRP muffler and MBRP turn down tip. Plus two clamps. Ill make my own hangers for it. Should work hopefully.

    LB7: Diagnosing bad FPR?

    Log the actual frp, desired frp and if you want difference between desired and actual, while at idle both in park and drive. Watch for spikes in actual rail pressure that are higher than desired. If its dancing around that's your surging idle. Then GM s manual will tell you to command rail...

    LMM: Chassis Cab DPF Delete.

    So I should be able to get a 4" frontpipe, 4" muffler two clamps and a turndown tip and I should be set short of making my own hangers? What's the quietest muffler? Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk

    LMM: Chassis Cab DPF Delete.

    yours was helpful thanks, i just was more curious about the frontpipe i guess. The tip is part of the dpf is it not? i might leave it as one then if they do want to put it back on.

    LMM: Chassis Cab DPF Delete.

    Thanks josh, they want $400 for that kit, im thinking just a muffler and tip sounds cheaper. Theyre talking like they might just drop it off, then ill have time to make it work.

    Techangle=Huge Timer Saver

    Im by no means an expert in metallurgy or torques etc. But from what i have gathered talking to engine builders and such. As long as the bolt doesn't show any physical stretch from being pushed too far into the yeild zone, then you can re-use it. Its when they get stretched and do not spring...

    LMM: Chassis Cab DPF Delete.

    Have some questions regarding a 2010 LMM Chassis cab truck i need to do some work on. They want the DPF deleted, egr deleted, lift pump/pre-filter system installed (they have poor fuel) and a mild tune. heres my questions. On the exhaust system, I realize the chassis cabs are different...

    Techangle=Huge Timer Saver

    It can be dangerous, after awhile though you learn to control yourself lol. 5% off is a good deal. A lot of them sell at list price with weekly specials, and sometimes throw in a freebie here and there. If you can walk off the truck spending under $100 you did good.

    Techangle=Huge Timer Saver

    Dont know about the Techangle but I've always been told $60. Only wrench ive gotten calibrated was the dial type Torq-o-meter i got off ebay for $30. They don't set the price, Snap-on does the calibration. Thats not to say they dont get a cut of it, and like anything if your a big customer...
