I know that mike. It puts it more into perspective of how tight those things are. And they are tight. I use a 4' 3/4 bar after a big bowl of Wheaties.

Torque is resistance to turn. Angle is the actual amount your turning the bolt.
The reason they are called torque to yield fasteners is because you are stretching them into the yield zone where you actually stretch and deform the bolt which is why they can't be re used.
You can't put an...
Haven't really checked when driving the truck, but by my calculations with the 265/75R16's, stock 3.73's and the ally.
2100 in 5th
1800 in 6th.
In the semi running 285/75R22.5's, 3.36 Rears and an Eaton 13OD (0.73 big hole) 1,570RPM's
I had this one done at http://gmgaugerepair.com/. Helpful and fast because he was close.
According to the site yes the connections were redone. I got the full rebuild.
Also looks like a lifetime warranty. So as long as we can assume the issue is internal, then i Guess I will plan on...
I know I know, bad luck I would say. on our 03 now every once and awhile the gauges will all die. Restart the truck and they all work again. Cluster was rebuilt this summer. Only recent repairs were injectors a few weeks ago.
Any ideas would be appreciated thanks, otherwise I will have to dig...
More damn electrical gremlins. The SIR light has been on in our 02 for awhile now. Replaced the Module last winter and fixed it for the time being but it is back on.
Replace the hydroboost the other day and while under there noticed that a relay was very hot after the truck had been sitting...
Yes it would be worth it.
I ended up replacing the cp3. The stock one apparently was weak. New pump and everything was cherry again except now I have an extra fpr. O well I'm sure ill use it.

Good thing were only getting rain :)
You can make aN adapter for a floor jack to be used as a tranny jack. A ratchet strap makes for added safety. I use a 2 stage one for use under car lifts. Works very nicely

all of them haha.
If you have it on a lift don't get too carried away without safety stands. Ive gotten them rocking pretty good up there.
Good news is they always come out better the second time.
I like the extra room the sleeper gives you for that as well. The KWs already give you a lot of room, but it makes it that much nicer. In the freightshaker you sit with the windsheild right in your face, the KW you can't even reach the thing.

The T660s do look nicer, the T600 is a very dated look. But we didn't want to touch one with the 07 emissions. Wanted to stay before that. then the next truck can be 2010 emissions when we go to get rid of this one which will be okay with us.
Already had one of them lol. Working on one right now. 9 bolts is correct. Two at the bottom. One at the very top, one down to each side of the top on. One above and below dowel on each side. You should have 2 regular bolts and 7 stud combos.

Well its time to retire the old freightliner from hauling milk. The Detroit is getting tired and will need an overhaul in its future however by pulling it off the road and only using it for in the field we are thinking we should be able to postpone the overhaul for a long time. Right now were...
Did you soak the dowels at all?
I always forget to anyways.but it does help.
Take the jack and lift it all the way up, usually separates the bottom a bit then let it down s bit and wiggle side to side then let it all the way downland wiggle then back up and wiggle. Get angry with it and use a...
So the antenna location could still be my issue? I figured that. We had wanted to put one on the roof but had a hell of a time finding one. apparently its like trying to find an old 16' satellite dish.
Ill have to find somebody to get up there on the roof for me then. The power supply to the...
