Do you have to use the grease from gm though? If so part number or what to ask for -

will check that. I was looking around and guess there's a tsb about greasing the slip yoke or replacing with new version. Will have to check both -

no carrier bearing(shortbed), u joints are good. Seems to be in the slip yoke -

Looking at buying an 04 lb7 crew cab. I noticed a slight clunk when taking off after complete stop. Won't do it unless come to complete stop and doesn't do it every time. Feels like getting bumped from behind. Tranny shifts and drives great other than that. Thoughts? -
