    Well just got told from the shop my lb7 has either a hole in the piston or a scored cylinder and really just need a new motor. Wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good rebuilt or used motor.

    So is there any possibility of it being electrical? If not I'm gonna go ahead and put new injectors in and make sure the lines get cleaned for sure!

    They were remans, so they said. We used an ohms meter to check them and they tested fine. But that doesn't mean much if they're junk.

    Awesome information. I'll get some tests run and see what happens. They were no name injectors. Said they used Bosch specs. Apparently not. But lots to learn about these toys.

    Yeah, it's my first diesel. For these ones from diesel care out of Tennessee. Guess they'll be headed back. But is there a possibility of it being the wiring harness before I pull these injectors?

    They honestly were eBay specials. Trying to pay for a wedding so I went cheap. But there's more than one not firing. Pours white smoke when I start it. Then lopes when I come off the throttle. Not sure if it's bad injectors or a connector. Had good pressure to the rail. 5200

    Its all white smoke. Haven't had the rates checked yet. The guy didn't clean the lines from what I know. I paid a guy that works on my dad's semis to install them. Fired it up and he thought it was electrical.

    Hey guys, so I've got 2003 lb7 with about 126k on it. was putting out a little white smoke so had it tested. Said I had 2 bad injectors. Replaced full set and now it's knocking hard and blowing a lot of smoke. I've heard the engine harness can be an issue. Any direction would be great!
