The trick is to mount the Kennedy's in the vertical so they can't trap air. The first install I used the stock filter head to get the prime. Sump or Not

LBZ: Accelerator sensor problem?
I had 2 of the 3 sensor wires broken (I think its 2 of 3, I may be wrong). I was throwing codes, but truck was still operational. There are some tests you can run on the pedal, and some for the wiring harness, but I can't access that stuff from work. Sounds like you need to go completely...- BlkMax

LB7: Lb7 reflashing
This may be an issue with a "locked" LB7 ECM. I have bricked a few of these over the years during reflash. The previous flash will take (sometimes), but EFILive or the dealer Tech II cannot get in an unlock the ECM to do the next flash. LB7's are notorious for this, so any more, I remove...- BlkMax

White smoke from tailpipe after idle
Lincoln Diesel Specialties has the best prices and quality I've seen on LB7 injectors (either stock, oversize, or SAC style). I went with the SAC's on my last install. -
Injector bolts disaster
Instead of pulling the motor, I would remove the hood, fenders, and front tires. You get a lot of access, and in my opinion would be less work. Good luck on the bolts. -
2 post car lift recommendations
I have been using a BendPak 10k 2 post symmetrical lift for the last 9 years. Love it. If I had it to do over, I would get the asymmetrical 2 post 10K just to make it easier to get in and out of the cab when the truck is on the lift.... It's easier than losing weight!:roflmao::roflmao...- BlkMax

coolant leak and idk where.
Not to say you have the same problem I did, but this is EXACTLY the problem I had with Emma. After driving with it for WAAAY too long because if denial, when I finally replaced the head gaskets I was able to keep the coolant inside the cooling system, and my radiator hoses were not rock hard... -
Sac injectors
I have some 65% overs and Starlite tuning. I have noticed that the truck will not cold start the first time with the autostart, not enough cranking time.... It always starts the second time the autostart tries. It has not been an issue with using the key, I think the autostarter could use... -

To close this out, I found the menu on the Tech II to turn off the injectors, and clearly #2 was bad. Balance rates on a few others were real marginal. He decided to get a complete set of injectors from LDS, so I get to do injectors on an LBZ. This should be refreshing after doing so many on... -

I'm thinking the same thing on the injectors, but just realized that we needed to check the crank too. What is the best way to check individual injectors? I'm an LB7 guy, so when they start smoking or making oil, I just replace them all...:roflmao::roflmao:
