Tuned a guys LB7; he now claims 6+mpg loss??
I agree. I also have a hard time believing he was getting 22-24, I have NEVER gotten that kind of mileage with my LB7s. The best I have ever done with the way I drive is 19 with my triple truck on it's hottest tune driven responsibly, before the rods bent. :p- BlkMax

EFIlive cal/flash LB7 unlock question
Like I said earlier, the guys at SoCal can fix ECM's which have been "locked". There are also others that do this service, but they are probably not vendors on this site. I have had to have them fix 3 for me over the years. I'm to the point where I keep a spare... but have not had the problem...- BlkMax

EFIlive cal/flash LB7 unlock question
If it is locked with a factory tune, you may need to send it to SoCal or someone else to have it unlocked. I had issues with tuning my LB7 ECM's until I started flashing them on the bench vs in the truck. I have not had a "locking" issue since I started with the bench flash. FYI I have...- BlkMax

Left is driver side of the engine, right is passenger side of the engine. Be careful to have the correct side of the gasket up.- BlkMax

Instrument cluster DEAD
You can also try sending it out and getting it fixed. I have done that with 4 different clusters. If you don't get fancy with LED lighting, or different backgrounds or bezels, it is less than $200. Cheaper than buying a new cluster.... -
