lly getting 4mpg
220 miles w/ a 35 gallon tank (maybe 33 usable) gives him 6.7 mpg. what's he towing or doing w/ the truck 220 miles = 200 or so trips down the 1/4 mile.- dmax tim

you mean 1,012,000 miles? why go bigger tire? you need smaller OD tires to give you a better overall ratio or else drop down to 4.56 or 4.88 gears.- dmax tim

Lubricity Addative Study Results
I wasn't sure about freddyville, we were real dry but got them in early so the have size before it got dry. now we've been flooded, more north of us but did get 4.5" last monday night. Should go above 40 maybe a lot more, hard to tell, they're waist to chest high.- dmax tim

broken trans!
most of the time it's in the 80's, got to stay warm, and if the truck is hot when it's parked inside the fluid is going to be ambient temp and engine too. couple of times I got the radiant flow wrong and it's been in the upper 90s in the shop :eek:- dmax tim

broken trans!
it sits in a heated garage in the winter and still does the 5 miles for lock up. I thought the main reason the LLY had this was emission crap to get the cat up to temp.- dmax tim

Texas events can...
