    Question: Towing with PPE Standard

    Better check the speed rating on your rv tires. many of them are only rated at 65 mph. Rv isn't real heavy or you would have limped your tranny. My 5th wheel weighs in at nearly 17,000 lbs. Level 2 on an Edge Evo will limp my tranny given the right conditions, head wind or hills.

    REAL World MPG's

    I get 7.9 pulling my rv. It is a big wind drag though. Larger tires than stock also hurt pulling this much weight. Effectively raises rear gear ratio so motor has to work harder. I lost 2 mpg with taller tires and will be going back to stock height when these wear out.
