H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Oh we have some great plans for the next Breaking Point event. I think there will be many of you guys tuning in for it. It will be organized much better and we hope to actually get some engine oil spread out on the dyno floor by the end of it.

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Yes, while I agree the correction factor was around 23%, those values applied to a well known stock truck dyno would not make sense. I agree the readings could have been slightly high, but applying that same 23% math to a stock truck with just a tune and exhaust would put it easily sub 400 mark...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

I do know what marketing is, no doubt. But I was referencing JOSHH's quote of "It isn't lying; it's marketing..." reference. Hence my "marketing" being in quotations. The Breaking Point video was intended to be a candid event. It was all organized in a matter of days as a spur of the moment...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

So I guess taking a truck that makes 600HP on fuel, adding two 0.120 size nitrous jets backed by 900+ bottle pressure wont make 800+ HP? Explain where we are "marketing" please. Doubt what you will, but the truck did another 850/1800 run in Colorado just last weekend in front of a live crowd...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Understood. We are on the same page. There are others in this thread that have flat out called H&S liars, and quickly have been corrected. Yet those same "knowledgeable" people continue to stick their nose into business that they have no clue what really goes on behind the scenes.

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Couldn't tell you anything about the sled pull video, as that was not me. But regardless of what the video looks like, I thought the poster said he beat a bunch of other trucks? I would assume an easy track, or a lightly loaded sled would be light and easy across the board for all trucks that...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Who said we are claiming an exact linear calculation of fuel delivery to HP? Not I. By a linear calculation we would have made near 950HP at 2600us. I will be the first to admit that volumetric efficiency will come into play quickly at high horsepower levels. We made 750HP @ 2600us. Then I...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

HUH? :thumb: What would that change? You want to see where the truck runs at no load? I hate to inform you, but peak power (the type we are talking about in this thread), is made at full load. EDIT: There you go sir, the FULL map for your viewing pleasure. The original picture should now...

H&S Trying to Blow Up The Ford

Guess what this STOCK 2011 Powerstroke fuel map makes for peak HP Ben? Yep, you guessed it. A 2011 Powerstroke in factory form will dyno between 330hp and 370hp on nearly any dyno in the world (even the H&S dyno ;)). Can you see the numbers in the bottom right corner of that table...

    LML H&S Performance LML tuning

You guys may not think 60hp and 160lb/ft of torque is much.... but every truck has to start somewhere :woott:. There is no "500 hp" switch in the ECU we can just flip to make power. We are talking thousands of hours of research to reverse engineer the internal processes. As soon as someone...

    LML H&S Performance LML tuning

No sir. R&D is all done in house and from scratch. :thumb: Anyone who has ran or even followed our tuning can verify this with certainty. Bentley
