Just returned from a 3500 mile ow with my toyhauler for vacation. averaged about 10.6 with lots of hills from So cal to Washington state and back. First Tow report for my LML
I am not having any trouble with mpg in this truck. 240 mile trip to river crusing 75-80 empty was 20.5. Towed the boat home and got 14.5 at 60-70. A little better than my LB7 was. -
LML Quadzilla Tuning
I'd like to know too. That dead pedal is super irritating when you want power. but can it be turned off and not leave a marker for my warranty?- fast03

LB7: Head studs vs factory
I ran a big single and stock studs. No problem. I was about 46lbs boost on the big tune. Truck had 160k on it when I sold it. Truck was tuned since 8k miles at varying levels Have a couple friends with 05lly's under 100k miles that have had HG issues with 40-60 hp tunes probably only 25-30lbs... -

I am completely happy with my LML. I have not calculated the whole life on fuel so far, but I would say its probably on par with my LB7. highway is better and the city is worse, so on average about the same. Keeping the urea full is not an issue at all. Chassis and power are awesome. I do miss...- fast03

"Built" Allison longevity?
Mine 2003 had a inglewood tran built SC3? precision converter. It had about 130k on it and had done heavy towing, few sled pulls, drag racing and a teenage son. seemed pretty good when I sold the truck, but I think the converter was getting looser. wish I had this new one built. BMW M series gets Tri-Turbo Diesel
Came close to getting 335d. Wife did not like it becasue it was a bit small. She liked the 535 better. I am hoping they come to the U.S with any 5 series diesel. BTW the 335d drives really nicely- fast03
