    LBZ id Thanks guys, The easiest I see is the egr cooler. Very different through production codes. LBZ is round with opposing inlet/outlet LMM is more square LLY looks like a straight pipe with an inlet/outlet And trans date code could finalize it.

    dude that sux. i had a similar exp. was unhooking the trailer, yes i was standing right over the tounge, tounge popped up and hit me in the jaw:eek:. put my ass on the floor for a few. wife said the only thing that saved me was the safety chains were still hooked on.

    yup it is a 5/8" pin. i even threw away one that came with a hitch that was 1/2" with a sleeve that goes over it to make it 5/8":eek:

    oops i guess my number was off by about a dozen or so:eek:. 650,000 x say 40.00 per hose x labor at their cost, (not what they charge us) x possible lawsuits so far(cause you know it's gonna happen)= DAYUMMM.

    100 degrees outside and i'm at 180. i think i've only gone over 200 with the trailer a couple of times. i usually don't drive her hard with trailer in tow.(unless a f-550 wants to play;)

    yea, but even metal on metal shouldn't wear it out like that. i have towed my trailer wiyh it maybe 20 times. my other truck has the class 5 e-z lift hitch(289.00 installed) and i used it for 3 years and not even a sign of wear. i also think we should do a poll to see how many hitches are f-ed...

    i was just looking at my factory p.o.s hitch andnoticed the hole for the pin is ovaled out:WTF2:. i have heard of the hitches bending, but not ovaling the hole out:mad::ripped:. i guess that class 5 hitch from e-z lift is looki'n good about now. i tow a 30' toy hauler and dont think i want it...
