    My stock allison started slipping in second gear only. Mt truck is a 2001 4x4 ex. cab. For 1k bucks I can buy a used allison with 30 day warranty. Or for nearly 5k bucks a stage V suncoast. Will the suncoast add value to the truck? And will it hold any tuner power level with no problem?

    Limped my tranny running 160hp tune. It second gear that slips. All other gears are ok. Its an 01 model with 150k miles. How much for a rebuilt unit from you? Im in MS by the way.

    it was but i reset it with the programmer and did a relearn. did fine then limped again. so on stock power if i idle around second gear its driveable. but i wanna know how much it will cost to fix or upgrade

    Ran the ppe on level 4 with stock tranny. Never ran it hard till i was gonna do a burn out. when it shifted into second the tires bit and tranny didnt. Now even on stock power second gear slips if i get over half throttle!! WHat should I do??

    my buddy has a 6.0 powersmoke.. and he cut his muffler off and ran striaght exhaust. at idle it sounds sweet! almost like a low whistle from the tailpipe, similar to a turbine sounds. Will our trucks sound the same?

    Ok I am wanting to upgrade tranny so what is the best route to go if I wanna run 150-250 hp tunes and not be scared of burning up clutches? Is suncoast a whole new tranny or the allison modified?

    I heard that the CO-PILOT kit for the allison 5speed auto does wonders as long as you have not limped the tranny before. holds the clutch packs at 230psi vs. 85-90psi stock. Just seeing had anyone installed it before and have any feed back
