I've been finding the od deal on a good used trucks, but they need a little work.
I don't want to even talk to the dealers on parts.
Where do you find reasonable prices on good new or used truck parts?

Depends on what your looking for.

a bumper, windshield, fender, cab, box, transfer-case, axles

Not that complicated. basically anything and everything except the expendable stuff. ei motor oil, wipers filters.
I'm thinking along the lines of auto recyclers (New and Used truck parts)

With the dollar on par you are better off looking in the US JMO

I'm still not a big fan of cross border shopping, even with our dollar were it is.
Wife had to buy sum sewing machine part from the US side
it was around $200 usd. shipped UPS.
When it came to the door... The driver needed $81 cdn. for
border processing and brokerage fees.
Not to mention the Paypal fee attached to the initial purchase.
If it's that unique and different? I will shop down south, but
I'd like to shop on this side.

I found a good Canadian source.
Central Truxx

I ordered bearings from dmaxstore IIRC $275 ea, and picked them up when I was near the border. Got a CV at NAPA for $110..... thought it was going to be way more.

I really only needed the speed sensor wires, and didnt realize that you could get them seperately. For kicks I asked the GM stealer what they wanted for the wires..... $178.... I gave him an earful.

I'll go to almost any length to avoid the stealer. I love kijiji and ordering from those nice boys south of us. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep my money up here... but with the dollar on par, I'm not willing to throw away hard earned dollars so I can get screwed.
