Taking a 5spd apart for an acquaintance of mine to do a small budget build. Truck still drove and shifted, just wouldn't hold any power. Turned out to be pretty bad. Trying to source a new gear set, but he thinks he found a usable core trans instead.
Trans looks to have not been apart, at least not recently, judging by the grime around all the bolts. The bearing at the output shaft was missing, not sure how or why.
