need help picking wheel backspacing

as title says I need some help picking out wheel backspacing. I have a 2017 l5p that I want to put 20x9 wheels on with 305/55/20 nitto terra grappler tires. the truck is a special edition white and I not going to cut the painted bumper. I'm looking to keep the wheel and tire level with the fender. I'm not a big fan off poke and have found on my 06 that more or level with fender fits the stock wheel well best. I have now factory 18'' wheels that appear to have 6.23'' off backspacing. I have only found a few 20x9 with 6'' backspacing and more that have 5.71''s. is 5.71''s going to put me too far out from my goals?

9" wheel 5.0-5.5" BS will get you where you need to be.

^^x2 if you stay with a 9 wide it should stay where you want it. Only thing that might not help is the width of the tire compared to factory and it wanting to come out a little bit. Either way, leveled I believe you will be fine.

9in wide will get you what you want. I think 5.71 bs will be okay for what your after
