I bought the compression tester for diesel engines from harbor freight."item#93644"Found the correct adapter for the glow plug hole but it does not seem to go all the way inwithout the hex hitting on the head.:confused:Is there a to make it seal without going all the way in.Maybe wrap the thread with some tfe tape?

It went in about 6-8 threads then the conner of the hex hits.I was able to wrap the threads with some teflone tape and that seemed to help some.Seen around 375psi but have a mist of fuel coming out of #7 glow plug hole when turning it over.:(

Do you have the fuel shut off? If so sounds like a bad injector.

I have this same compression tester and the adapter doesn't properly screw into LMM heads either......Are LBZ and LMM heads the same casting?

I believe LBZ and LMM are the same. I took a glowplug to a machine shop and had them make me an adapter.
