On GMC's, is there any advantage to getting rid of the black plastic that covers the hole between the tow hooks. Maybe, possible cooling advantages, a very slight areo advantage, or maybe it looks better without it. It seems to me that it is just a wonderful bug catcher and a pain to clean. Has anyone cut this piece out?
If anyone has done it, is it worth taking out or just leave it alone. Keep in mind that I don't have an overheat problem, I just don't like having to scrub the bugs off of it during wash time.
