Blew a turbo riser pipe!

Will have pictures in awhile.

The driver's side riser pipe bent 3-4" at the bellows from heat till it hit the firewall.

I have a feeling this will be a common problem for the big HP guys as I've heard it happened to another truck as well.

So time to come up with a fix.

WOW bent 3"-4" at the bellows now that doesnt sound too good. Was Casper at the track when it happened?

Holy cow! How hot was it? I wonder if a big set of twins would be a better option to keep EGTs down.

How about this theory. Increased RPM's equals more air flow, more hot gases passing through the system, less time for dispensation.?????????. Add higher drive pressure and the straw comes knocking. The stock risers are pretty hokey looking anyhow.
