8.1 zf-6----looking for a great clutch

i have a 02 8.1 and the LUK clutch that was in the truck when i bought it died. had no luck in finding so far. south bend does not have one all i can find is ac delco or cheapos. its 11 11/16, 1 3/8, 10t per ac delco. thanks!!!

Southbend should have one for your application or they should be able to build one. If not I think Centerforce offers a heavier one for that application.

Do you need a performance clutch or just a replacement? For the LuK clutch try Carolina clutch

thanks for the help guys!!! it had a LUK in it but looking for something better "if" possible. i do tow a 12,000 lbs 5th wheel alot. so i am looking for something in that nature. i found one on napa website "napa brand" but guess going to try LUK. please keep the info coming.

Who did you talk to at SB? The 8.1 clutch and PP should be essentially identical to the single disk DMax unit. The only difference should be the flywheel. Clutches aren't rocket science, and it's what they do. I had them build me a clutch for my Cummins with a 1-1/2" 10 spline center. I had it at my doorstep in a week.
