2001 6.6 transmission

Bought a 2001 Chevy 2500 6.6 they put a new engine in the truck now the trans won’t work have not looked at it a bunch tought might be a common issue

You will need to give codes found (not just p0700), fluid level warm, what exactly the truck is doing and any other information you can think of in order to get any help. We are not standing next to you looking at it.
