    coolant loss

    so, i never posted this up before, but i have a coolant leak. i have had it since about 10/08. been chasing it around, dealing with it. then i lost my motor. now that its back together, still loosing coolant. no coolant signs in oil (no milkyness, always drains black and smooth) no visible leaks...

    so i got curious pulling my turbo off, and pull the v-band clamp off to see inside. i know how the plate goes on and which direction, my question is on the vanes, when i put the two halves back together, do the tab/finn on the vanes need to go in the slots in the plates when i put it back...

    how random is this?

    somehow my tire picked up the clasp part of a padlock and decided to inhale it for breakfast:mad: i mean what are the chances!!!???? luckily i was able to get it plugged and patched cuz only one end actually went through my tire. looking back, its actually kinda funny now:)
