    LB7: fuel rail pressure problems

The injector cups are thread locked into the head. It takes high temp thread lock to reseal them. They can be a pain to remove, but its worth the hassle for piece of mind.

    Rail Pressure Issues

Check the plug on the fuel pressure regulator. Mine had a loose power wire. Mine also was random, meaning one day it ran fine, and the next it had max fuel pressure. Come to find out the power wire was coming loose from the plug itself. Made for a big headache to figure out. Start the truck up...

    LB7: fuel rail pressure problems

I resealed my cups. Only had one come out with an injector. But it's one of those things, your there, so why not avoid a future problem. You cant tell if the mating surface was disturbed on the cup while trying to remove the injectors. For the injector hard lines, I soaked mine in a bucket of...

    Injector lines...

Is that possible with how the return lines are on the injectors?

    LB7: fuel rail pressure problems

If race plug don't fix it, and it still starts with a shot of gum cutter, then yes I would guess bad injectors. Possibly on the return side. If it don't start after installing race plug.

    LB7: fuel rail pressure problems

20 ml on bottle test if i remember right. Sounds like return side of injectors is the culprit. Will it run if gum cutter is shot into the intake? Might need that lil shot of nose candy to help it start.

    Finally found problem

Got my truck fixed this weekend. I've been having fuel issues, and everyone said it was fuel pressure regulator. With the problems I was having, and the description of the issues, that was a good guess. Put a new fpr on, and still the same issue. Called and got another one shipped to me. Still...

    LB7: fuel rail pressure problems

Mine had the trouble of not starting at all with injectors shot on the return side. It wasn't allowing them to build the proper pressure for it to start. Had to start it with gum cutter sprayed down the intake every day. See if that works on his. But take the advice, do a bottle test on the fuel...

LB7: Replaced FPRV now has loping idle

Not to high jack the thread, but I'm having some of the same issues. I just changed my fpr yesterday, and I'm still having the same lopey idle, and fuel knock. Changed fuel filter on motor, and still no fix. While I was in there, I took out my fprv shim kit since I had the parts to do so, and...
