    We are rolling on this again, with everything getting shut down it got shoved in the weeds last year. The cage really looks bad now, but its going to get blasted and painted so itll be alright. I hope to have the cage finished up within the next couple of days and ill post some pics

    I have a crazy infatuation with these brakes :roflmao: I wish I could swing a set for my own truck. I think they cut around 200 pounds off the whole truck, and it’s around 35 a corner in rotating mass. That’s gonna be some crazy gains in itself

    I don’t think there’s necessarily a goal per say, but in order for the cage to cert it has to be under 5,000 with driver and I think that’s doable.

    It’s main focus is drag, so it’ll benefit from the 3.42s and it’ll likely need them if he wants to run it out the back anyways. I’m hoping it’ll be a 150+ mph truck in the 1/4.

    Lots of fun stuff on this table. This has to be my absolute least favorite thing to do :cussing: Already did the front diff, e-locker, fleece tuf shafts and the 3.42s. No pictures of that but plenty of cursing :rofl:

    That will be taken care of when you swap all the harnesses. To do a swap I’d recommend a donor truck. Trying to piece one together gets crazy expensive, especially because LLY stuff is expensive.

    The windows showed up today. They’re optic armor. I have a race car buddy that has one and loves it. Anti-fog, lightweight, and tinted. Not looking forward to cutting these, but they’ll look good once they’re in :D

    I’d try to weld it up and drill it back out and tap it. Might be fairly easy to do, I bet it’s mild steel.

    I finished up the roof over the weekend. I’m not a fan of how it turned out but rules are rules. The only way to avoid this would be to push the windshield bar farther forward, pull the funny car back, or take the one to the back corner of the main hoop and run the above helmet bars “through”...
