I would lift the truck up, loosen all 4 bolts, set it on the ground and then tighten them and see where it's at. You might be surprised the difference it makes

Did you tighten the shackles with the truck in the air?

Yeah sorry, I meant on the head, although it's not really thickness I don't think, just taller. Either way you can't bolt on a blower from a ls9/a let alone any normal LSx intake.

Thanks! The lca's are just to get my camber in check but the truck rides better now. I'm not sure if it's from the LCA's, new ball joints, the new poly sway bar mounts and end links, or just the fact it now actually has swaybar end link bushings but it now rides incredible.

Figured if was going back, might as well go all out! Thanks! It can be brutal! Wheels are Vision Fury 20X9 -12et which just came out. Tires are Nitto 420s' 305-50-20's. I also swapped to the DJM lower control arms and put in all new ball joints, inner and outer tie-rods, and some other...

Congrats! They are awesome cars, by far my favorite Camaro thus far. The blower won't fit. LS7's are a lot different from LS9's and LSA's. Completely different heads and deck height. Plus unless they have fixed the issues from the old LS7's they don't tend to like boost to much.

    Those with coil overs

It's going to take custom mounting points and not nesicarily a different shock and coil setup. Although a 10" or 12" spring on a 5" travel shock would be better for stock ride hight application. My setup works so well for me because it's so low and I'm going for more of a car style travel. Very...

whats wrong with yours/what do you need to have done to yours? I just swapped to the DJM arms without any problems. I know to low is one of your problems, you could get something like this to get extra hight out of the setup...

    Southern Texas

That's kinda what I figured. 5 acres in Austin will be pricey unless you look out in Hutto or something but I have a friend with kids there and he's not to impressed with the schools. I grew up in Katy which has good schools (at that time anyway) but finding 5 acers will probably be a bit...

Are you going to have a daily commute to Pleasanton? If so Houston and Austin area are probably going to be to far of a drive. It's a bit over 2hrs from Houston and almost the same from Austin, especialy if you moved to Round Rock. I personally don't like Austin much and cost of living is a lot...

I can do some trimming. Can i do enough to make them work though? Either way ill be running the same size tire so wouldn't i basically be in the same situation with the 20x9? I know its not quite the same thing due to the offsets and such but I've never been good about wheel sizes/fitment

That's what I was thinking Mickey no longer makes that good looking ATZ tire and I need new ones. I'll be keeping them and throwing on some terra grapplers for towing so they arnt gone forever. Also hoping to lose some weight with the 20's. Both look amazing! But this sells me on a 9"...

No problem. A thin crossmember doesn't mean it will be weaker. I dot have one because I don't really have a need for the extra clearnce.

I will try and get to the CAD drawling this weekend. On ground clearance I have about 4 7/8" of clearance to the trans crossmember and 6 3/4" to the frame under the cab. The front wheel from hub center to fender is a bit over 18" as well. I just went out and took the measurements and the truck...

    Those with coil overs

They don't really have a part number. They are a ridetech 4" (travel) shock though. Here is the info on them. http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47788
