I installed one in my lb7 last week just to try it out. Same pressure at idle as the oem I took out but at 2k rpm looks like picked up 5-7ish psi. Apparently due to being a bit more efficient. It is a bit of a pain to torque the gear nut since there is no second shaft in pump to keep it from...- bimmer95

Well first of all, I'm not 100 percent convinced it is fuel related. I would be double checking maf and map readings and making sure it's not some version of a maf limp mode. Then take it on a drive and check rail pressure actual vs desired and reg ma. Then based on that maybe do an injector... -

There's 2 kinds of people that work on trucks, parts changers and mechanics. Problem like this needs to be diagnosed hands on and not by some keyboard warrior. Extra part from valve body

I don't think the engine will fire if there's a vats issue but could be wrong. With the key on engine off does the security light on the dash go off after a few seconds? What does the fuel rail pressure desired vs actual do when this happens? Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk- bimmer95
