    Has anyone ever painted and clear coated factory rims. Unfortunately, my factory rims are starting to look pretty ragged. I have installed studded winters on them and am planning on new wheels for my summer tires. I am interested in painting gloss black with a clear coat. Is this a good idea?

    Help: Towed the 1st time w/new motor

    Do you have a bug screen in front of your rad? This can cut the airflow through it quite dramatically? I've been told by half but I can't confirm that. I just realized this thread is quite old. I hope you have your problem solved by now.

    Am I missing something here? Couldn't you just disconnect one battery at a time, being careful not to short out the possitive cable, thereby leaving the second battery hooked up and presto 12 volts!
