    Procedure for Van Glowplugs

    Does anyone have access to the factory/dealer procedure for either performing a compression test or changing glow plugs in a van? I'd like to do a compression test as I keep losing coolant, but it looks like #5, 6, 8 could be impossible to remove with the body on.

    Calibrate custom Allison dipstick

    I'm putting an Allison into my van. There is about a 3.25" difference between the dipstick location of the 4L85E and the Allison. I can extend the tube and the dipstick to get everything to fit and seal, but I don't know where full/hot should be. Any ideas?

    Flexplate Housing Differences?

    Are all Duramax flexplate housings the same (e.g. Allison, 4L85E)? I'm putting an Allison where a 4L85E used to be and don't want to wait until the trans is in the air to find out differently. Thanks!

    Add Cruise Control

    I wasn't sure where this should go...please move it if it's not in the right place. I bought an '06 Express 2500 Duramax work van. It doesn't have cruise control. If I get a cruise stalk, is the associated wiring and programming already in the BCM/TCM, or is there more to be done? Thanks!
