    ok after checking all the wiring found the culprit, took connector off at ficm and noticed a bit of condensation applied some dialectric grease and all has been good now for 600 miles

    No mods done here is what it is saying injector circuit open fuel injection group b supply voltage circuit open. varies as to which one goes off 2,3,5 or 8. like I said I thought after pig tailing them all and cleaning with electrical spray this would have smartened up the problem.

    Just bought 05 cc duramax, low coolant!!!

    Hey I feel sorry for yeh, I just went through the same thing with my 04 6.6 LLY at 189000km. 30 hours labour to change both gaskets. Total bill came out to 6500. I think Gm should wake up and smell the coffee they new the gaskets are defective and have not done anything about it.

    Thanks for all the feed back. It was the head gasket and now my mechanic says he has another one coming in for the same thing. Perhaps GM should open up thier eyes and see what is happening. Anyway just a word of advise keep your eyes on this as it is not a cheap fix.
