Same here. Back to no TPW. I have seen a few deliveries, but those are some of the few that were built ~7 weeks ago.

I took a quick weekend trip down to SE Missouri. On my way back I ran by the Wentzville plant as a monotony buster. The Jack Cooper (trucking company) lot north of the plant had a car hauler full of colorados, many looked like they had the diesel fender badge. Today I've also seen...

From the sounds of things I can't blame you there. I hope you've been having a nice break from the grind. :)

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. At this point I think the increased capacity will help everyone involved. It seems like you guys are working like mad to keep up. Is there any truth to the rumor that some trucks are still being built during the shutdown? I know people are still working...

Rumor is production is scheduled to ramp up mid January. I just got confirmation that currently produced trucks are scheduled to ship. Makes me wonder if Fleece's truck has been invoiced for delivery yet. At this point I'm guessing GM is clamoring to at least get one truck in customers...

I sure hope you're right on yours. Mine has had 3 TPW's come and go with zero response to my dealers inquiries.

Looks like production is still having issues. My TPW got pushed back yet again. I don't even have a TPW any more. Others have received TPW's of the second half of January and early February.

Looks like production may be opening back up. Quite a few of us were recently assigned 12/14 TPW's

Many of these systems are updated directly from GM systems. Something else to consider is that even though we've ordered them, the trucks are in dealer possession until someone signs the paperwork. At any point someone can walk away, leaving the dealer to sell the vehicle.

So far I've had 4 different TPW's. I had gone out to broadcast for a TPW this week before it got pushed to 12/14. I checked in earlier today and I'm back to 3000 with no TPW. So far I only know of 2 trucks (built this week) that are destined for the wild. We should be seeing a few at least...

It looks like order statuses are starting to change. My order is still 1100, but I've seen mention of a few that are at 3000 (accepted by production control) The machine is finally starting to pick up a little steam.

IMO, the ZR2 was just a flashy way to get the public's reaction to the diesel. I'd love to see it happen (The ZR2 is what really got me to consider a Colorado) but given what I'd assume to be a low take rate they'd need to price it out of the market. There's a significant amount of ZR2 only...

Interesting, thanks. Do they have fore and aft IAT to determine intercooler efficiency? It seems really strange to me that it's before.

Thanks for the pics. I'll take any news at this point. I'm starting to get impatient. :) Out of curiosity, anyone know what the sensor in the (I'm guessing) downpipe is? If it is the downpipe, nothing I know of would make sense. Wouldn't be IAT as it's before the intercooler. Can't be a...

There is in the base truck. Not with the diesel. The US arms of GM appear to have warranty concerns and don't trust people to know how to drive properly.

Almost like Otie's a trained PR guy. :D I sure hope I'm wrong about this trans, but not holding my breath. I do expect we'll be seeing the first 6L80 swap quickly.

Not that it matters a whole lot in this particular conversation, but here's a GM response to a request about the advertised diesel torque vs previous trans rating. From the sound of it they're now advertising it's capable of greater torque without making any modifications.

I'd absolutely agree with the worry about the trans. It seems to be the glaring weak link so far. I have my doubts it'd live at stock power levels if you're pushing the truck pretty consistently. EFILive posted numbers that were around +45 HP, and pushing torque over 400 lb/ft.
