    That would be awesome. I bought a 04 8.1 truck with no motor or tcase just trans as a roller for 1500$ so I have pedals ect todo the swap just don't want to get into a huge nightmare..

    So from reading into that post it seems that the defuel comes into play when the truck goes to shift and jumps above the upper most desired rpm where the grah falls off ? maybe i misunderstood. I am going to re read that thread a few more times. but the information is very helpful Thank you c20

    Alright I will give that a try. I have been having a hell of a time with hard defueling between shifts. Just got back in a duramax after a 5 year hiatus with cummins (what a waste of money ) having to relearn it all over again.
