    S400s over stock ?s

Good eye. We have come to two options 1) delete it with tuning, which I have no idea if that should or can be done or 2) use the rubber shoulder in the air filter, cut a hole and mount it there. Any suggestions? Customer originally tried to put it in the interstage pipe which he told me didn't...

    Thank You HSP Diesel!!

I got the bottom ones in toward the turbo and all four top ones, just not the lower front two. I can't seem to start the nuts on the thread, I tried magnets, assembly grease on a socket with a swivel swivel, etc but not a swivel socket so I'll have to buy one and give that a try Sent from my...

    Valley turbo

That really surprises me, usually us diesel junkies know every nut and bolt on our trucks, maybe you should find out so whenever you see someone else with triples you can compare and contrast Dyno numbers, time slips, and other characteristics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    S400s over stock ?s

Ya, the customer decided to get them blasted and coated and the downpipe wrapped, I've never had an issue with slag or what not on the inside with my welding, but I could definitely see that causing a problem if there was Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    S400s over stock ?s

Ya haha I know, some of the bends needed to be tighter than what mandrel bends could provide. Also it's kind of my style, and it happens to be cheaper to make the bends this way, 30$ a bend adds up quickly and even more $ for 5", inside of the pie cut bends are surprisingly smooth too Sent...

^thats a good pic for the cold side I'll try to dig one up that shows more of the exhaust for you to see. Here. See how the stock turbo's exhaust feeds into the primary's turbine where the passenger battery traditionally goes, then it's just straight out the exhaust system from there...

I don't really get your question...."how does the cold pipe fit between the Atmo and the engine to the y bridge" It sounds like your maybe confused about the path of air.? Some of these pipes I kind of made up names for so other people might call them something else. Atmospheric air -->...

    S400s over stock ?s

Since I'm new to this forum and have a low post count, I'll just continue with this topic and help explain what most people on here probably already know. Yes, only one downpipe. I will try to break it down leaving out some of the technical details. It works like this, the primary turbo is...

    S400s over stock ?s

Sorry for being unclear, I mean the connecting point s of the piping have to match up perfectly. If you have a v-band on both sides of the pipe, they have to be dead on or they won't seal right. unless you have a bellow or a flex joint which gives you some wiggle room. Silicone boots give you a...

vbands are great but require skill to make perfectly matched connections on both ends. ive never had issues with silicone boots as long as they are straight. If you are going to be making the piping yourself curve the piping so that you only need straight silicone boots. Ive had good results...

    Water after turbo

So, coolant after the turbo......Could this be a bad seal in the turbo since they are watercooled? or a headgasket failure? Maybe someone can chime in? Im curious if the water pump weep hole leak is linked. I wonder if a blown head gasket can over pressurize the coolant system and cause both...

    Intro

Hello Guys, I am new to this forum so I thought I would post my first thread as an introduction. I have experience making multiple twin turbo configurations, but I am here to learn more specific information about the Duramax engine. I am from Sacramento Ca, and typically work on Cummins motors...
