ok, did injector swap between 3 & 5 , knock followed inj. Called around and sourced a known good used inj for $100 plus my core locally . Installed it, fixed the knock and smoothed out idle, balance rates are markedly better but still far from ideal. Desired frp is still over 1000 psi low at... -

update... got cyl cut out test done yesterday with snapon solus, inj 3 disable through scanner and later unplugging smoothes out idle drastically and eliminates all diesel knock. Still have problems with actual rail pressure at idle even but hopeing new inj may fix this as well, gonna do 3 to 1... -

air dog 2 165 Pump is in, just have the wiring and return line mocked in ( not final install) as to run the engine w it on to troubleshoot, no noticeable diffrence in idle, actual fuel rail press is still low ( carries about 3500 psi regarless of demand at idle speed ) still fuel knocking , but... -

today lol. Did the batt charger soak overnight and (2a trickle), went out and primed it this morn again, rolled it over and watched the rpm and fuel press, rpm hit 190-200 ish and frp ran up over 1kpsi, it started. Let it run for hours in the garage, still fuel knocking, but actual is tracking... -

forgot to mention, watched it pretty close while it was running, did not have excessive if any white smoke after it ran for a lil bit, as far as i know wasnt smoking at all the last 45 mns or so -

also after shooting these vids, and letting it run for over an hour in the garage, switched pid from batt volts to fuel temp, fuel was runnin around 100-110 deg f, i goosed it a cpl times watchin afrp , it kept wanting to run to a higher rpm than i feel it shouldve for the input from the acc... -

yeah im not thinkin the bg is "bad" for my truck, i just didnt know if the additive i put in could poss cause my no start issue if say it "broke" a buncha junk loose in the system and poss caused a blockage or failure downstream? just a thought? and as far as diesel in the valley, i did not see... -

any ideas? where to go next? pull the glow plugs? check the/a return line? kinda not sure which direction to go here before assuming the pump,fpr,frpr valve,inj? anybody familiar with the bg244? is it known to cause hard system part failure? -

yeah, it pumps up within 2 to 4 pumps to firm each time, im really leaning towards a hp side leak considering the slight increase in afrp while rolling it over but ?? lol
