    L5p torque converter in older allison.

    Has anyone tried the L5P converter in an older trans? I know LML converter would work and was stronger. I would assume the L5P would be even stronger. Anyone Have any input or info why it wouldn't work?

    Have seen several thread talking about c2 thin steels notching the drum. What is the long term effects of this? Have they ever cut completely through a drum?

    Allison pressure spring and shim.

    Reading the instructions for Mike's pressure spring using the shim and spring causes faster pump and ring wear occur. My question is how fast will this occur and what all must be replaced to repair it.

    Allison lockup valve mod

    I have read you can modify the stock tcc cut back valve for no pressure reduction. I can't find instructions or pictures of this. Does anyone have a link ,intructions, or pics of how to do to do this?
