1/4 mile discussion and time slips post here!

Thanks Tom, glad to see some familiar faces still hanging around here. I’m still alive James. I’ve Got 3 kids now, my LB7 hasn’t run in over 2 years, I work way to much, and my daily driver is a Cummins :( life has been a lot of fun the past couple of years.

    How cold are you?

I'm at my parents house in Boone NC for the weekend and it 15* and windy. Got around 4-5" of snow last night. Had to help my dad shovel the driveway and I can say that I have a new respect for you guys that work on equipment in this weather. Y'all are nuts!!!! I can only imagine what my wrenches...

    How cold are you?

I love my auto crane but we use adkins truck equipment bodies. They are the best setup bodies I have seen. They normally get used on 2 chassis before they go to auction. When they go to auction they aren't even half wore out. I guess its a depreciation thing.

You can say that again! My dealer is actually stepping it up and going to all kenworth T370's. My truck is scheduled for replacement next year:happy2:

Where you moving to? It's been in the 40-50's here for a while now. I pay a lot more attention to the weather now that I don't have a heated shop to work in!

    Windshield tint

I have the factory tint on the back windows, 15% on the front and 35% on the windshield. It's the perfect setup IMHO. Dark enough you can barely see in, but does not impair driving at all and does not draw attention from cops.

Lets talk Turbine size and A/R continued

Neither.... Just SOTP. I'm not a big gauge person. I ran the 1.25 for a long time and I know how hard that turbo can pull up top. When I retired the truck from pulling I wanted faster spool on the street so I dropped to the .90. You can definitely feel the difference between the 2 housings.

forward facing t-stat housing hose options

I run the van housing and gm hose. I reused the PPE belt but swapped back to my original idler pulleys and rerouted the belt. On a lb7 the van hose won't clear the tcm. I had a new tcm mount fabbed up and everything works great.
