2001-2007 dually bed fender opportunity. $$$$

As I said in another thread I need rear fenders. Insurance wants listings of fenders in canada. Refuses so far to buy a US bed. (probably price) Ive seen broken fenders for 1500$. So Im thinking 3000$ for an uncracked one should be good. So 3000$ per side , 6000$ for both. Insurance needs to...

My friend saw the truck at a stop light, here's a picture showing the size and position of the bags. You can see the top plate peeking from under and the angle. [/IMG]

could really well be. it looks really factory except the angle on the bags. So they might have tilted them to fit the truck. but it was done in a suspension shop he said. in and out type of deal i hear. But that's from the 2nd owner. I cant find the load capcity of the 5712 bags on...

no thats not it but the front part going to axle is simialr. except it looks factory, big thinck bar looking like a leaf connects to front spring perch and on axle, then bends down to support the bottom of the bag. But it has rear bars that come from the rear and connect to the axle as well...

    Help identify air ride kit

Ok, I met a guy in a parking lot. He has a 02 3500 dually with a very particular airride system. He doesnt know what it is, bought the truck that way. It's been put on by previous owner. He recently replaced a bag, and they are w01-358-5712 firestorms. It looks easy to install and 100% air...

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

There's is 2 ways to tackle this. Using good infos and proper tools, or reverse engineering Now, if im to buy a scope, which I know how to use, and don't know what the actual signals are supposed to look like, it's not gonna do anything but burn a 500$ hole in my pocket. If I have a...

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

Yeah, There's no relearn on my duramax. A gm tech I went to told me that. At least none on this 2005 year. Here's more info to this. From the Gm Manuals Condition for setting the DTC When the engine is cranking or running, the cam sensor pulses received by the ecm does not equal 3 in one...

300v isn't that high, expecially dealing with possible transient of injector coils running on 48V already. You need some MOV and such in there just to clamp that. As for the harness adapter, I have no problems with puncture probes, just a dap of liquid tape afterward. So I'm pretty sure it can...

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

While a normal scope like this CAN work, it's also playing russian roulette with it's front end without (possibly)specialized probes i'm unlikely to find. Im sure a tech wouldnt charge me 400+ for a simple scan with a automobile scope such as a picoscope. Problem is, dealer refuses. They want...

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

Im not buying one because such scanner with dual channel scope function is the price of my whole truck. We're not talking about a 2gran autel scanner. And the scope function Id only use for this, so I'll buy a new engine or trans before that top end scanner. I cannot find a place that...

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

That's what I said earlier in the post. I don't have access to independant mecanic that has a scope around here. ASide from the stealership who straight up said theyd replace the ecm before using a scope

    LLY: Help Lly p0016

Little follow-up. I replaced my injection pump and injectors while at it. Still have that p0016. Truck sounds exactly the same and still takes a few turns to start. My guess is with the oil pump gear(the one on the crankshaft which also holds the reluctor) pin being torn and jammed, so my...

    p0016 tricks to find source

brokesmoker also has the same issue on a built motor. He has no balance rates. He's probably keyed as well. One tech said it could be from a corrupted tune. My truck could have been tuned by a earlier owner, then put back to normal. Can EFi live graph those sensors ? Might be good investment...

    p0016 tricks to find source

Do you get balance rates when doing that? or they still default to zero? The truck runs good, just got back from pulling this 34' couple hours ago Good but only excellent once at operating temps. It's never perfect as my injectors arent do defaulting to zero makes it imperfect. One injector...

    p0016 tricks to find source

Yes, but I've not been able to find a mecanic around Montreal with a scope that isnt the dealer. Basically the dealer wants to change my computer, a wiring harness and both sensor at MY COST before using the scope. Changing stuff ramdomly isnt the mark of a good mecanic. IkeG : Thanks, I...

    p0016 tricks to find source

Is it possible to see the timing marks by removing the crank pulley? I mean the 2 little dot of the cam and the dot of the crank sprockets ? What if I pull the seal ? I need to see it, I did buy the truck used, didnt look like it was ever opened but cant find a good technician with the scope...

Question: Who on here has been unhappy with results using Amsoil?

My truck ran amsoil since new, has 260 000 miles (410 000km) I put ARP headstuds and gaskets, so took heads off. It still has crosshatch inside the cylinders. Still has zero blowby. like...none at all. I've not had any issue, I change it every years, about 30 000km.
