    Thanks for the feedback guys. It seems like there must be something else going on. The last set of injectors were new Bosch with the upgraded body and he bought them from injectors direct.

    Interesting...yeah cheetah pattern is a good way to describe it. It's only towards the top of each cylinder. Did pic load?

    First question I have is what causes the oval shaped, darker marks staggered about cylinder in this picture? I assume it's normal as block is looking good even the cracked cylinder wall is pretty good.

    I'm tearing apart and rebuilding an lmm I picked up that had a cracked piston. I was wondering what wear indications to look for both good and bad. I'll post some pictures of the cracked piston later but I know it's nothing new. Pictures are always beneficial. Thanks for the help!
