LBZ: Oil leak, but what part?

I appreciate the responses guys. I usually do big maintenance stuff at the end of every year, and I don’t see myself putting more than 2,000 more miles on it before then, is this something that can wait or do I need to worry about it now?

LBZ: Oil leak, but what part?

I had the pump rub kit installed a few ears back, so hopefully this is the case, as the seals and housing should be good to go. If the harness is leaking, would I be looking at a new harness or just plugging it?

LBZ: Oil leak, but what part?

Climbed under the cab today to check an ABS light and noticed this build up of oil about mid cap. I tried my best to take photos that show the location. Any idea what’s causing this? ‘06 LBZ 2500HD

    LBZ: Replacing Heater Hose

How difficult is replacing the two heater hoses? I noticed I was losing coolant over time and had it pointed out that it was the cracked heater hoses. I included the quote to repair.

LBZ: Best way to repair headliner?

I had an issue with pinholing under the windshield that let water in. Got that fixed but still need to repair the headliner. It's a small thing but it's driving me nuts. What's the best fix?

LBZ: Lot of play in steering

I've got an '06 Duramax 2500, 6" lift on 35's. I've noticed allot of play, getting progressively worse. What are the main parts to check?

LBZ: MAP sensor throwing check engine light, things to check for?

My '06 Duramax is throwing an engine code linked to the MAP. I am running a K&N cleanable air filter, it's been on pretty much since I've had the truck. What are things to check for to diagnose the code? Thanks in advance!

LBZ: Kate: From stock to now, and spring break

I've been looking into various tracking/alarm systems. Most tracking units seem to have a limited range, so I think I'll wire something up to the alarm. No kidding. Lots of scum in this area.

LBZ: Kate: From stock to now, and spring break

Right? But no, living on campus, it's just a risk I'm going to have to take. I tac'd the bolts on the pods today. No need to take em off anytime soon, and it'll sure as hell make their job allot harder. I appreciate the kind words, thanks man.

No kidding! The luck was even better when two guys came over to help and had all the tools and a spare, plus beer! Had her back on the road in 10 minutes!

We're thinking manufacturing defect mixed with possible low air pressure. No flat, no loud explosion, vehicle just started swaying and I pulled over.

Well I guess my luck ran out. Had my lightbar stolen yesterday, after having it for months, and then tire today. [emoji849]

Thanks man, I appreciate it! And by all means, go for it! As long as you wash the truck after! [emoji23] Wow, small world. I moved out here about 10 years ago before leaving for college. Where'd you move to?
