    6.2 Diesel Fuel Pump Question

    Drove a 1995 6.5 Tahoe until 2012 and only replaced the electric pump once. Now the oil pressure switch that it was wired through was a whole different animal, but on a mechanical 6.2 that wouldn't be an issue.

    Did you re-check any of the bad fuses to see if they went pop again? Would be a clue for a short somewhere.

    The Redline i know used to be in Burbank and then moved a year or more ago further south to Wooster. That's a long way from mentor unless there is another shop of the same name?

    I have one of the earliest sets, and maybe the first set in an LBZ. This is in an otherwise stock turbo. They might very slight change the quality of the sound, but definitely not the volume.

    Things differ if mechanical vs electronic injection, and if electronic if OBD I vs OBD II. That said, in general, you can go nuts and spend a lot of money to make an honest and reliable 300 hp.
