    Northeast Florida Tech2 Scanner?

Are there any Diesel Junkies in NE Florida with a Tech2 that I could use to do some automated brake bleeds? Please PM me.

    Electric fans

There's a small bump in mileage and HP due to not turning the big fan all the time. The AC is better at idle and stationary due to more airflow through the stack, but that probably won't matter to you in BC. You will never hear the howling of the big fan again. You can turn the fans on before...

    Electric fans

I'm partial to Delta Current Control (Two FK-35) controllers, I've had the same controllers on my truck since 2007. They don't make what I use anymore, but have a single controller FK-85 for 2 fans. They also have a relay based controller. Others have had good luck with Hayden Controllers...

    Electric fans

My pinion is that the AC was better than stock. These fans will draw more air through at idle. My controllers run at 50% when AC compressor is on.

    E-fan controller for the duramax

Sounds interesting. Two Taurus fans will run close to 70amps at full song. I wish you luck.

    Low Stall Converter

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I do this with my LB7. Since you're using EFI Live, you can lower the shift points in your normal mode or use the current normal mode shift points and set the lockup points to be locked in second through fifth. This will give you the shift like a...

    DSP5 switch help

Some of the friendlier dealers will give you the pins. I picked a few up the other day from one of the local dealers here. Try a different dealer if you don't get a pin from someone else first.

    Question: best fuel temp

I've added fans to my factory fuel cooler and also added another cooler in front of the radiator to gain any benefits I can from cooler fuel. It's the factory cooler, which Mike has pointed out is not nearly as efficient as his probably is. To be honest, I never noticed an appreciable gain in...

    Biggest Tire on 05 2500

If you're looking to lower the front a bit, you can run a 285/70 17 (32.8 inches) on H2's with a little trimming of the valence and the bars cranked all the way down. You will also need to zip tie the e-brake cable and do a little pounding with a hammer to knock the inner fender well back a...

LLY: putting a 2006 electric fan in a 2005 diesel?

I have the dual Taurus setup as well. The write-up and long thread can be found on that other forum. Low Cost Electric Fan Alternative I think. Also, TurboTug has a bit of a write-up around here somewhere as well. You could also search for Taurus and you'll see people who have the fans and...
