    Little update after cleaning the vane sensor yesterday. The engine light is still off but i can hear the turbo vanes changes position at idle until the truck is fully warmed up.Atleast that what i have been told the noise is. Is it normal for that to happen?

    I have not researched this but a buddy says inorder to get my turbo out, if thats the case i have to pull the cab off the truck. Looking down on the turbo that doesnt seem true. Can someone answer that for me.

    If i block off the egr wont it throw a bunch of codes? Would i need to get a tuner?

    Is 11.2 in town decent milage for a stock dmax? I put a 4" mbrp down pipe on and thats it. Gunna put a muffler on cause it to load and i dont really like the jet airplane sound.

    Thats what it sounds like to me, to many different symptoms and to many could be's. Ill drive around and see iff it comes on again. I also tested the volts to that sensor and seems to check out at 4.9 volts which i read is correct.

    Forgive me for not answering back to a reply at 11:00am i have to work for a living. The info i read had said the vanes in the turbo could be stuck or not opening all the way. I also read that vane position sensor is failing or is not working properly. Some people are saying they have symphtoms...
