    Wasn't sure what it would be worth with a bad trans in it. If I could get 7K for it as it sits, I'm not against that. Damn things are still fetching 15 to 17K running.

    Pulled the pan and there is a lot of clutch material in the bottom, and the fluid has a greenish tint to it. even with all the fluid that's been run through it onto the ground. :o Who's a good source for either a rebuild kit, or even another trans? I would like to tackle the rebuild myself...

    After I started it, because it won't start with the connector unplugged, I pulled the connector, and no, it still doesn't go forward, but it will slam hard into reverse. I'll start a new post over in the trans section, once I find out what the codes are. I don't want to waste anyone's time...

    Picked it up today. Man what a nice running truck. It's got some power compared the 12 valve Cummins I have now. Really impressed with the fuel mileage coming home.
