I did the test with the oil cap, it's moving around and not staying on the full tube while the truck is running.- HASTINGSRJ

and yes there is blowbye coming out of the oil fill hole as well.- HASTINGSRJ

The hole on the crankcase, bottom right side of the motor. I will try the oil cap test tomorrow. Thank you- HASTINGSRJ

2003 LB7 blowbye problem
Recently I have been seeing smoke from the engine compartment of my truck. Took it in to the dealer had the oil and fuel filter changed, and PCV valve changed. I'm still having blow by. The truck runs awesome as it always does. I have noticed that my oil pressure is higher than normal though...- HASTINGSRJ

LB7 slight surging
filled up yesterday, added my usual 8oz of diesel clean, and a qt of tranny fluid. She's running smooth now. Thanks for all the input guys, I appreciate it. :thumb:- HASTINGSRJ

So lately my truck has been surging a little bit. Usually does it when I come to a stop or if I let it idle for a while. I use diesel Kleen every fill up. I've heard that running ATF in the fuel will help this issue. Just changed the fuel filter last week. It's not surging bad as in the RPMS...- HASTINGSRJ
