    Where’d you mount your sump on an LML?

    I’ve seen the ones under the sending unit but from what I’ve read it seems that at the back of the tank behind the rear strap might be a better option. Any input from experience would be appreciated :D

    Hey all, I did search but couldn’t find much for some reason. I’m sure it’s been beaten to death.... but where did you mount your sump? I’ve got a 15.5 LML and really want to get it right. Anyone have any pics of theirs? Thanks in advance :thumb:

    Thanks for the input! I didn't know that tuning could affect the tone. Would a 4 or 5" be better for nice tone with less drone? Will certainly have a muffler no matter what. Any advice on what exhaust to go with?

    UPDATE: So, the shop that did the work agreed to pull the valve cover off the side they did the injectors on and have a look at the injector cups. They were pretty sure I was wrong, but I think they did it to appease me hoping to say "I told you so". I have been happy with how they've treated me...

    Thanks guys! This is what I suspect as well since it didnt get any worse or blow completely while towing heavy on steep grades in high ambient temperatures this summer. Hopefully the shop will make it right and end my lengthy nightmare!
