    Bending frame pulling

The bottom lip of the frame will not take that load for more than a hook or two, especially on trucks that have been through a few winters of salt. To make it hold you need to attach the hitch to the vertical part of the frame. Whether it's with braces or just putting a different hitch in...

    Frame flex

Just my opinion here: The cab and box actually keep the frame from flexing a lot more than people think, good mounts or solid mounts help. If the frame is going to be trussed it needs to be attached to the vertical part of the frame, the vertical part of the frame is doing the work to keep...

Mike would you mind sharing what gear ratio you are running in the axles?

    Which blocks with air bags

Make sure that if the bags have studs out of the top of them that they are long enough to accomodate the suspension stop bracket.

    Which blocks with air bags

Most of the ones that bolt in where the factory bump stop is and then has the adjustable tube sit on top of the spring pack can just use longer bolts to have the air bags installed. It will only move the air bag down about 3/8" most of the time. You shouldn't have an issue.

    Hop issue

The keys don't help but you may be able to get around them with some on point driving.

    Hop issue

Either get in it faster or walk it out a little further before going wide open. The tires are trying to hook around 75' out but it doesn't have enough power to spin through that area. It basically becomes easier to push the truck up than to spin the tires. Or the last thing that can/should...

    Hop issue

Drop the air out of the bags and just run the suspension stops. No need for the bags if it's blocked solid after that one inch of travel. How much power does it have and what size tires? Stock gears in the axles? What gear are you pulling in? When does it start to hop? Right away or 100...

    LBZ: 1st Sled Pull

Take a rachet strap and pull the rear down to "load" it if you don't have traction bars. Then clamp the springs. Then release the rachet strap. The rear will not come back up.

    2.5 Hitch Setup

If we are going to talk money then anyone can make one for free. Find some scrap metal and use someone else's welder, boom, free hitch. Is it optimum, probably not. Is there anything wrong with it, absolutely not. However, it's kind of a different topic once cash comes in to the conversation.

    2.5 Hitch Setup

I agree with that somewhat, the main words in that statement is "CAN BE". Most don't. Or the setup is wrong and actually lifts the front more than a regular receiver. So for the average person a simple receiver mounted at the rear of the frame is by far the best setup. If I built...

    2.5 Hitch Setup

My point was this: It's a waste of time and weight added to the rear of the truck unless done exactly perfect and even then it's mostly a wash when comparing the two.

    2.5 Hitch Setup

Typically guys build a really cool looking "reese" style hitch that is basically a drawbar. And it weighs three times as much as a regular receiver hitch. And doesn't change how the truck hooks what so ever other than taking weight off the front of the truck. JMO

    deleting rear brakes

Easiest way would be to switch to the companion flange setup from the Dodge. Then make an adapter plate to go to a rotor of your choice. That is not the cheapest way but easiest, probably the strongest also.
