got slips to prove it ill get videos up soon.

first race vs a mustang I missed 4th gear I know I
wouldnt have done that in an auto lol. I ran a 15.197 at 95.72mph, .367 rt, 2.078 60ft took the win

second race vs a 6.0 ford I missed 5th guess I was nervous
Ran a 14.700 at 98.15mph, .010 rt!, and a 2.598 60ft took the win

last race vs a newer corvette. Had issues at the tree I rolled passed the stage light. backed passed it so I could roll back into it in a forward gear. When I hit the stage light the tree went as soon as I hit the stage area. Corvette didnt move and got redlighted. The tree already went the guy yelled go so I did.

that race I ran a 13.768 at 99.40 mph, 4.906rt:( and a 1.908 60ft didnt miss any gears last race and this was my first three races ever. I can only improve. It was a blast.

Second gear 4 high 3400 rpms. Tires at 30psi. Didnt spin or even chirp off the line. I think I need to rap 2nd gear higher before hitting third. Ill get videos up soon.

Have you tried leaving in 3rd? I could in my old truck till I smoked the clutch. That was in 2 wheel spinning. I never tried 4 hi since it didn't have any beefed up front end parts. A stock motor may not have the ass to do it in 4 hi

No it blows them off in third 2wd. Wouldnt want to try third in 4wd. Ive blown 0ff the back tires on a fourth gear dump in 2wd. 60 foot needs work though like plowboy said.

Nice! You may want to look into a short throw shifter. A guy from Michigan ran a 12.5xx with a stock turbo ecsb 04.5 LLY/ZF a few years back. He had one. I think it was the fastest stock turbo manual trans truck in the country iirc. Tom (thebac) knows him.

I want one I called midwest trans and they needed my stub to machine. If I knew how to do it id have our machinest at work do it. It would help alot

That was Darius. Those were fun times racing. He sold that truck a while ago. I'm not sure if he had a short throw or not.
Heck, dont forget Caleb. He went 11.70's in his zf truck, didn't he? Those were the two fastest zf trucks I heard of. Certainly the fastest shifters from watching the in cab vids.

Yes. 4warned was his name on DP iirc. Never met him. I'm weird, I can remember performance mods on people's trucks that I've never met just reading their signatures but ask me what my wife said to me yesterday...:dontknow:

did another 4x4 launch today. I ran second gear, which I launch in. all the way up to 4000 then shifted, instead of 3700 rpms. third and fourth gear feel a lot stronger coming into them at a higher mph and rpm. i had to be on top of shifting, the gears went quick. September eighth is an all truck drag day and my local strip and im going with a few buddies. gonna try to get my 60's way down. my front shocks are blown to. any ideas on the best front shocks?? and i have my front slammed, the back is stock. has like an 6 inch rake front to back. should i leave that for racing or go ahead and drop the back down to get it to like a 2 inch rake?

Rancho 9000s work pretty good on the stiffest setting & turn them down for street driving
You have cal tracs, could pull the overloads out

Would that hurt towing capacity? would removing the overload help more with launching or lowering or both? Price on ranchos?
