OutLaw truck Pull's, tomorrow (Sat 9th) at 11am, registration to pull is 10am, 8k and 8.5k diesel class.. The same sled they had at Fonda Fair will be there (MEAN MACHINE)... I have pulled there the last 2 years and it's a good time. Last year they had a huge diesel class lined up but the sled had catastrophic failure and ended the day early:( This year they have a MUCH! better sled and the weather is suppose to be really good aswell... If any one is in or around N.Y. and wants directions post up or P.M. me:thumb:

How'd you do??

They ended up having two 8500 open diesel classes:confused:, My first pull I blew another intercooler boot at the 308' mark and got out of it immediately causing the sled to hit me:eek::( John Allen's Danville built truck ended up winning that class with a 318' pull.. I switched intercooler boots with a buddy of mine and Hooked for the second class. I pulled 351' for the win but the truck was making some funny noises and was smoking when I came to a stop. I drove over to the pits and let the truck idle down for about 10minutes before turning it off. Upon re-start it was/is still puffing a little white smoke, but the knocking noise is almost gone:confused: The oil pressure is were it is suppose to be and the oil looks good and is full. I drove it 1hr home and it never got hot on the engine or EGT gauge so I am not really sure what exactly happend but I am going to do some logging/tests today and try to figure it out. On a brighter note it's my first Win so I am pretty stoked about that:D

Did Allen pull in the 2nd class?

No, He want's to win or not play at all:rolleyes: Atleast that was the consensus of all the pullers who stuck around for the second class. He was signed up for both classes... You should have come down man they had a good sled this year and some pretty bad a$$ trucks showed up to pull..:)

Yeah, not a fan of that dude at all...I would have liked to come but
kinda nice having my truck in one piece at this point. I'm trying to keep
it that way.

I hear ya on keeping the truck together:rolleyes::) I contemplated going to this pull all week because I am gettting sick and tired of breaking my DD every week. But I figured it was the last pull of the year and I really wanted to see how my new set up would do. Next year my 05 will be attending these events on a trailer for the most part and it wont bother me as much to fix broken parts when I dont need the truck;) As far as Allen, he does not seem to popular at the local pulls but hey, He brings that upon himself:rolleyes:
