Way stoked.... won a contest on Pirate4x4 and won a new Bandsaw from Baileigh Industrial. Its their BS-128M 5" Hydraulic Band Saw. $895  and about $400 in freight from Minnesota, should be here at the shop tomorrow or the next day.

Anyone else have a big bandsaw? What should my first project be? :D

They have tons of cool stuff on their site.... www.Bii1.com

Congrats, you suck.. :D

Would you have to put the whole thing in a tank to run/capture/recycle the coolant?

nope, thats the beauty of mist cooling. it diesnt use much at all so there is no need to recover it. I dilute mine (cant remember the ratio) but I used less than a pint building a set of headers and up-pipes. Prob over 200 cuts.

In General 4x4.... lots of vendors do giveaways... you just post in the thread then when the contest is over they pick a post # at random and you win! Check it out.... theres prob 6 or 7 giveaways goign on right now. Gotta be a red or yellow star to participate usually. My $20/year red star just paid for itself several times over

This is mainly gonna be used for my new cage, but it can do exhaust, DOM/mild/4130 tubing, flat/bar stock, pretty much whatever. I think it comes in today truck freight, the truck got delayed a few days due to the crazy storms in the midwest.

Just got a Miller 212 for here and on the hunt for a Hypertherm plasma and eyeing the JD3 hydro bender... should be set! :D Fabbing is fun

yes I know, I have a red star on pirate. I know and have worked for one of the owners of pirate too, you know the 'junkyard dog' project; Im the one who got it running like a freight train after some GM Master Tech's and a professional tuner tried but could barely get it to idle.

what cage? Any pics of stuff you make? Im just curious, i love checking out what everyone else is making, sometimes gives me ideas. :)
