I am going to install a sump and thought about routing my return line off the AD II back through the factory pick up. Thought it might keep foaming down and get the pressure off the return side of my fuel system. Is there any reason that I couldnt route it that way.

The original airdog returned fuel back through the filler hose with a insert that came with the pump. Maybe someone else can chime in for more detail.

I have my dedicated return from my FASS regulator there, I have a sump located right below where the stock pickup is, slightly offset, and I have now driven it around town for some test and tune runs and it did what I wanted it to. I had it tied into the stock 3/8 return before and it was overspressuring the whole system and messing up our tuning efforts.

So you have your return ran back through the factory pick up

I have done a few returns through the factory pickup and used a draw straw. It works great, no foaming like dumping it into the factory fill tube. I have put 28 gals into my 02 and it was still running.

its really easy, i used a dremel. took me 20 minutes to lower the tank, 20 to cut the hole, 10 to clean it and another 10 to get the sump installed..then I let it dry
