Allison 6sp: WOT downshifts

My trans has been built for a few weeks now. The only problem I seem to be having in light throttle shifts it flares and after a WOT run , when you slow down the trans will downshift VERY hard. I'm also getting a delay between shifting from Park to Reverse, and then a clunck to follow, but it only does this every so often.

I reset the TAPS today via EFI Live, hoping it will get better. I've only done about 3 WOT runs since the reset.

Anyone else experience this? I've got a Suncoast IV/1056.

light throttle shifts can make a big difference even with 5mm3:( The hard down shifts is...well is odd after it's learnt IMO and shouldnt happen, But flared is a easy fix

the delay in park to shift? Is it possible that it is the prndl? I have swapped many trans and you might need to adjust the cable

It sometimes delays or if it does go in normal it jerks REAL hard, and then sometimes it's completely normal...

When I first reset it after picking it up, I just clicked the first button on the DVT tab in EFILive instead of all four like I've read. It seems to be doing a alot better so far.. :)

Mine has clunked when the tranny is warm when shifted into reverse on this build. Never when cold just when its warm. I have assumed that it's the pressure manifold. Garage taps didn't fix mine, but may well fix yours.
